Pre-MBA Scholarship Opportunity!

Tutor the People is now tailoring their ongoing scholarship essay contest specifically to pre-MBA students across the country. The scholarship asks students to submit an essay that illustrates how an MBA will help them achieve their academic and professional goals. They will award a $1,000 prize to the winning submission, which will be made payable to that student's current university/future business school.

New Course on “Personal Money Management” offered during First Summer Session

The Belk College of Business is offering a new course during First Summer Session on "Personal Finance".   This course is open to ALL UNIVERSITY students.  It is a very important and practical, skills-based course on personal money management.

Management Department Hosts Open House

Last Thursday, the Management Department hosted their annual lunch celebration
for students majoring in Management or International Business.

Several faculty members enjoyed talking to students about their current
classes and plans for after graduation.



The SCPD was also their to talk about internships for credit.




A free buffet lunch was served.

Marketing Department Hosts Lunch for Stars

The Marketing department hosted a breakfast event  in March and most recently on April 13th
a "Lunch for Stars" for students interested in the field of marketing.



Professor Cohen gave a presentation and gave students tips for navigating their career goals.



Students enjoyed sandwiches, fruit, and cookies!
