Make Sure to Send in your Transcripts from Transient Study Courses!

Did you take a course over the summer at a community college or other institution for Transient Study?  If so, it's your responsibility to send those transcripts to UNCC.

You can usually request transcripts online at most institutions.  Be sure to send an official copy to UNCC's Office of the Registrar.

Until your transient credits are officially on your UNCC transcript, you will not be able to register for any courses that your transient courses served as pre-reqs for.

Team Building Exercises at the BCOB Staff Retreat!

Ever tried to build a free-standing tower out of marshmallows and toothpicks as a team but your manager can't touch anything, one builder can't speak, and the other builder can only use their non-dominant hand? Neither had we! Until this past week anyway...

On July 27th the BCOB Advising Team had a staff retreat full of team building and planning time for the upcoming academic year. We had a great time and are excited for the upcoming fall semester!

Devoted Niners wanted! Become a Niner Guide!

Admissions is seeking enthusiastic UNC Charlotte students who would make great Niner Guides!  Each fall they recruit, interview, and select a team of Niner Guides who provide prospective students with campus tours, help at Open House and Admitted Student Day, as well as other recruitment-related events throughout the year.

Admissions hosts approximately 20,000 prospective students and their families each year in our major events and through daily tours of 50-100 guests twice most days throughout the year.  Niner Guides provide walking tours to each of these guests and are one of the University's best recruitment tools because they can speak directly to families about their experience as a student at UNC Charlotte.

If you're an enthusiastic student who loves their university, you should apply!  This is a volunteer program but students often provide feedback that they've developed their professionalism, time-management, confidence, public speaking skills, and leadership skills through participation in Niner Guides.  The minimum GPA needed to join is a 2.75.
