How to submit a grade replacement request

Undergraduate students may replace up to two (2) courses (maximum of 8 hours) for grade replacement. Both grades will be reflected on transcript. However, the higher of the two grades will be used in calculation of the GPA.

Step 1: Enroll in the course. If you earned a "D" or above, you will first need to submit a Repeat Authorization Form to the BCOB Undergraduate Advising Center to get permission to enroll in the course for the second time.

Step 2: Enroll in the course.

Step 3: Submit a request to Grade Replace the course no later than the Add/Drop Deadline
View the Grade Replacement video for step-by-step instructions.

Step 4: Complete the class for the second time, earning a higher grade. Once your new grade posts, only the new grade will be calculated into your GPA.

As a reminder for Pre-Business students, ALL graded attempts are included in calculation of the Progression GPA unless Grade Replaced.
