whose plan included ideas to get more savings accounts open for children with #FundTheirFuture
Sarah, Zach, Courtney, Wyatt S, and Wyatt M proposed three strategies. Ally chose this team as a winner as their ideas aligned with previous suggestions from the companies outsourced marketing group. One idea included "The Financer" game that plays off the Bachelor.
Tassnim, Alicia, Imani, Frederick, Laura and Jessica were also chosen as winners. Ally appreciated their organization, nod to the companies culture with purple, and their gamification idea.
We were excited to have Selim, 2018 Marketing Graduate(far right), and all of the Ally Marketing team below serve as mentors for teams throughout the semester and judges for presentations.

What class(es) or experience prepared you most for this course?
"Writing-Intensive Courses and presentation, teamwork and communication skills are all extremely important."

What was the most challenging or rewarding part of MKTG 3250?
"Of course, the most challenging part of MKTG 3250 is how fast-paced the presentations and papers each week. It is important to set boundaries on how much time you spend on this class, when considering your other classes and work obligations. Make sure that your group members agree to at least 2-3 different meeting times per week to devote to this project (to do research, write, and help each other, to make final edits together, and to practice presenting)." -- Jessica
What was your overall experience like?
“Marketing Strategy Consultancy gave me the one thing that I felt like I was still yearning for in college: a sense of true ownership. Through working with a real company and composing a plan of ideas born from my team and I’s own minds, we were instilled a sense of pride that gave us confidence in moving forward to the professional world. Having worked through a real-life situation in both a practical and creative manner meant that everything we had learned the past four years had finally come full circle – the experience was truly invaluable!”
