How to Practice Self Care during Spring Break!

While Spring Break can be a very exciting time for others, it can also be overwhelming for some. Whether this be pressure with upcoming exams, commitments with organizations, or personal obligations, it is just as important now as any time to practice self care. Here are three tips to help you practice self care during Spring Break!

1. Reflect
Sometimes in the midst of looking forward, we can forget what we have already accomplished. Spring Break is a great time to see how far you have come this semester, and even this academic year as a whole. In doing this, it can also help you see how much you have achieved - you may even realize new accomplishments!

2. Goal Setting
Spring Break is also the perfect time to set goals for the remainder of the semester, and even for the summer. Goal setting is a great way to visualize your goals and also create a mental map of how you will achieve these goals, this can make it a lot less overwhelming when you’re actually trying to implement these goals.

3. Take time for what makes you happy
Most importantly, take time out for yourself. It is easy to get overwhelmed during the school year, so make it a point to take time out to do something you genuinely enjoy, even if it’s for just an hour. This is the perfect way to recharge yourself for the rest of the semester!
