Profound Niners
The Cato College of Education is offering Profound Niners as a paid internship for the Summer of 2021. Profound Niners’ mission is to increase the percentage of male educators of color in the teaching profession. Interns will partner with Teach NC and Profound Gentlemen as mentors. They will explore the benefits of a career in teaching and receive high-quality professional development. All male students of color are encouraged to apply, even those who are not sure if teaching is their calling. Interested interns will receive mentorship throughout the application process for the Cato College of Education’s Graduate Certificate in Teaching Program and for the TQP Program.

Teacher Quality Partnership
The Teacher Quality Partnership (TQP) is offering a complete grant which includes tuition, textbooks, supplies, application fees, and a living wage stipend for students! Students interested in earning a teacher's licensure and a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree in less than 18 months should apply for this opportunity. Graduates will have a guaranteed job in Cabarrus County Schools upon completion of the program.
